The Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation
The Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, like Pax Americana Institute, is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization. The VCMF was established by HR 3000, sponsored by Representative Dana Rohrabacher and Senators Claiborne Pell and Senator Jesse Helms, and endowed to build a memorial in Washington, DC to commemorate the more than 100 million victims of communism. The Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation has been working hard to honor those who successfully resisted and continue to resist communism’s tyranny, to educate, and support those who educate, current and future generations about communism's crimes against humanity, and to pay tribute to those who helped win the Cold War.
HR 3000 was passed unanimously on December 17, 1993, and has been reauthorized through December 2007. All of our support, through volunteer service and donation, can continue the hard work and longevity of the VCMF for years to come.
