Vice President Biden’s Custard Shop Gaffe

In another display of the now infamous tongue of Vice President Biden, during a recent trip to Wisconsin to aid the campaign of Senator Russ Feingold, the Vice President was seemingly caught off-guard during an exchange with the manager of Kopp’s Custard of Greendale. After Vice President Biden scooped himself a cone of custard, he was captured on tape responding to the manager’s comment that the Vice President could enjoy that cone ‘on the house’ if the White House would work to lower his taxes. The Vice President replied, “Why don’t you say something nice instead of being a smart-a** all the time?” This is hardly the behavior the American public should expect from the second-in-command of the United States government.
